Having found out that our learners have the skills that they need to maintain a multimedia ePortfolio and that our ICT infrastructure can handle the storage demands created by a multimedia ePortfolio, we are now trying to integrate the ePortfolio Process into the work of all subject areas.
We have recognised the potential of the ePortfolio to evidence Personal Learning and Thinking skills and are currently investigating how we might do this. We are promoting a discussion on ePortfolios and PLTs via the ePortfolio and PLTS Google Group.
As a Mosep Partner, we have had to communicate and collaborate with, partners from across Europe. This has required us to use Skype, Blogs, Wikis and a wide range of social software. This work has moved us into audio and video Podcasting and more recently, internet radio.
Our attempts to identify external funding to move this curriculum development projects forward have failed. The next few years will be about integrating and building on what we can within the constraints of a limited internal budget. We will try to continue to disseminate our finding and promote discussion for as long as we can.
