Currently Working On - Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

PLTs are defined as six groups of skills:

  • independent enquirers;
  • creative thinkers;
  • reflective learners;
  • team workers;
  • self-managers;
  • effective participators.
  • These skills groups are essential for all learners.

    We are currently investgating and exploring these skills groups, linking them in with existing practice and the Wider Key Skills. We are also investigating how learners might use their ePortfolios to evidence their PLTs development.
