About e-Me

This Web-site will disseminate the findings of a school based curriculum development project that is investigating the potential of a multimedia ePortfolio to support both learning and the learner.

The project was conceived by and has been funded by Wolsingham School and Community College. Following a small-scale pilot in February 2004, the project, initially involving 66 Year 12 students and three groups of Year 10 students, began in September 2004.

Following this early development work, that demonstrated that students could master the required ICT/multimedia skills and that the tools and technology were robust, we phased ePortfolios into all year groups.

Students are taught the skills that they need to maintain their ePortfolio during their ICT lessons and are encouraged to update them during PCC lessons and as they work in Subject Areas. We are currently trying to integrate the ePortfolio process into the everyday practice of all subject areas.

We have developed a wide range of resources to support the development of learner ePortfolios.

We will attempt to make any resources available via this site. We actively contribute to on-line discussions about the ePortfolio process and, increasingly, Web 2 applications.
