We are continuing to develop the structure of the student e-Me, however, we are spending the majority of our available time developing approaches and support materials that support learners as they develop their ePortfolios.
As part of the preparation for the revised Key Stage 3 Programmes of Study, all departments have revised their schemes of learning and have included ePortfolio expectations and opportunities.
We will be supporting subject teachers as they integrate the ePortfolio process into their everyday practice.
We are aware of the limitations of a school based ePortfolio and have trialled a hybrid ePortfolio where learners store the majority of their multimedia evidence on our server and the text based content, that they might need to share, on Mahara, a web-based ePortfolio. We will endeavour to develop this hybrid approach further this year
